The Western Way is a 240 km long walking route in 13 stages that takes you through the extremely varied landscape of this region. You pass countless lakes, cross barren mountain passes and ruins tell about the eventful past. Due to the length of the individual stages and the great remoteness in some places, the route is classified as moderate - a solid physical condition and a certain degree of weather resistance are basic requirements for enjoying hiking.
