The Dutch part of the E11 (to the border between Poland and Lithuania) starts in the German border town of Bad Bentheim. The 372 km long path runs from east to west through a cross-section of Dutch landscapes such as Twente and Salland, the Veluwe and the Gelderse Vallei. In the meantime, the route visits the old trading cities of Oldenzaal, Deventer and Amersfoort. Then straight through the Groene Hart to Leiden. The last stages pass the many estates between Wassenaar and The Hague.
