LAW guide 13 Hertogenpad (Breda-Roermond) walking through natural Brabant

The Hertogenpad runs as much as possible on unpaved and separated paths through the Brabant and Limburg rural areas. From Breda via 's-Hertogenbosch the route runs into the Meijerijse landscape of the river Aa, over grass dikes towards Heeswijk-Dinther. Here the path bends towards Uden and the De Maashorst nature park; beginning of Peelland proper. The heart of the Peelland Route is formed by the large unspoilt areas of Deurnesche Peel, Mariapeel and Groote Peel. The hiker will also find other nature reserves, forests and scenic landscapes along the route: meadows and fields lined with hedgerows and trees.
