The historic metropolis of Gdansk is one of the most beautiful cities on the Baltic Sea. It is littered with important original places from the recent history of Poland and Europe. Visitors can visit the historically accurate town, walk along the banks of the Motlau River with its old crane gate and marvel at the amber, the gold of the Baltic Sea, in the jewelry shops. In the evening it is best to end the day in one of the many restaurants or pubs in Sopot's entertainment zone.
