Side One is the Chuuk Lagoon Dive Map, which shows the current Chuuk (Truk) lagoon, with detailed information about the many wrecks. The ships (and planes) sunk during Operation Hailstone in 1944 included perhaps the world's largest wreck dives, making Chuuk Lagoon a must-visit for the divers of the world. Side two shows Truk Lagoon on February 17 and 18, 1944, when American forces bombed one of Japan's most important bases during World War II. Features descriptions of the hugely successful attack called Operation Hailstone, as well as descriptions and illustrations of the Japanese ships that were sunk and how they were sunk.
